Free Mortgage Resources
Welcome to Arizona Mortgage Group's Free Resources section. We created this section for first-time visitors to our site and for visitors who might be a little unclear about the mortgage process and where to start. If you're looking for some basic directions for using our site, then you've come to the right place.
Our Free Resources section includes two main sections for the two main types of borrowers: borrowers looking to buy a home, and borrowers looking to refinance. Each section explains the main areas of our site that would be of interest to that particular type of borrower, and provides a link for each area so you can go directly to it from here.
Purchase Mortgage Resources
Mortgage Glossary
For first time buyers (and buyers who haven't bought a home recently), our mortgage glossary is a great place to start. Our mortgage glossary lists common mortgage terms and explains how they are used in the mortgage business. Going through our mortgage glossary will give you a good basic understanding of mortgage terminology, and will make the remaining sections in our site easier to understand.
Buyers Tutorial
Our buyers tutorial provides a step-by-step explanation of the main steps that happen when you buy a home and finance it with a mortgage. Our buyers tutorial is a great tool for all buyers because it provides you with a general understanding of the entire purchase process and makes it easier to avoid getting lost in all the details of buying a home.
Loan Programs
Our loan programs section provides detailed information about the most common loan types that we work with, including fixed rate mortgage loans, adjustable rate mortgage loans, interest only mortgage loans, and more. Going through our loan programs section is a great way to get up-to-speed with the most common loan types in today's mortgage marketplace.
Mortgage Calculator
Our mortgage calculator allows you to calculate monthly payments for all types of mortgage loans. Our mortgage calculator allows you to calculate monthly principal and interest payments based on principal borrowed, length of loan and interest rate, and it also allows you to calculate the total monthly payment if you have tax and insurance information for the home being financed.
Loan Checklist
Our loan checklist section lists the main items that may be required from a borrower during the mortgage process (i.e. tax returns, bank statements, etc.). If you're considering purchasing or refinancing a home in the near future, it's a good idea to begin putting this information together and give it to your loan officer at the beginning of the process. This will help reduce the chances of your mortgage loan being delayed because of missing information, and can shorten the total loan process dramatically.
Loan Process
Our loan process section explains our loan process from start to finish. This is the process that occurs when a borrower decides to obtain a purchase loan or a refinance loan from Arizona Mortgage Group. Being familiar with our loan process (like being familiar with the general purchase process) makes it easier to avoid getting lost in the details of the process once it gets underway.
