Mortgage Calculator

Use our mortgage calculator to calculate monthly payments for all types of mortgage loans. Our mortgage payment calculator will calculate the monthly principal and interest payment for a mortgage loan based on the principal amount borrowed, the length of the mortgage loan and the annual interest rate.

Our mortgage loan calculator will also calculate the total monthly payment, which includes principal and interest, property taxes, property insurance and PMI (mortgage insurance). In addition, once you have calculated the monthly payment you can create an amortization report for the mortgage to view online or print out. The amortization report will list each payment over the total loan term, and show what part of the payment goes towards principal and what part goes towards interest.

Mortgage Calculator Instructions

• Enter dollar amounts without dollar signs, commas, decimal points or cents (i.e. for a $150,000.00 loan amount, enter 150000).

• Enter the desired interest rate as a value between 0 and 100 without a percent sign (i.e. for 6.5%, enter 6.5).

• The Annual Property Taxes, Annual Homeowners Insurance and Monthly Mortgage Insurance (PMI) boxes are all optional.

• To view an amortization report for the loan values you've entered:

  1. Click the Calculate Payment button to calculate the loan's payment.

  2. Click the Create P&I Amortization Schedule button. The amortization report will then be calculated and displayed in a separate window.

  Note: It takes several seconds after clicking the Create P&I Amortization Schedule button before the amortization report is displayed.
